After claiming to have insider knowledge that “could be useful” in the ongoing Michael Jackson wrongful death trial, Sharon Osbourne has been added to the trial’s witness list.

Osbourne discussed the news on the CBS daytime talk show “The Talk,” on which she is a regular panelist, but she couldn’t say much.

“I have been contacted by the Jackson family lawyer,” Osbourne told fellow co-hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood. “And I will do my duty of telling the truth. Now that I have been contacted by lawyers I can’t say anything else other than that.”

Osbourne was a little more vocal earlier in the week, when her comments on the topic caught the attention of the Jackson family’s legal team. “There were certain people that worked at that company [AEG Live] that knew that Michael Jackson was not well and didn’t care because it was business,” Osbourne revealed Tuesday (April 2) on “The Talk.” “And at the end of the day, whether he performed or he didn’t, they would still make money, and I’ve had conversations with certain people at that company who have said exactly that to me.”

“If they would like me to go to court, the Jackson family, I will stand up and tell you who said that to me,” she continued.

Now it sounds like Osbourne could get her wish.
