sophia bush one tree hill clothes Sophia Bush donates 'One Tree Hill' wardrobe items for I Am That Girl auctionOur major girl crush on “One Tree Hill‘s” Brooke Davis is well-documented, so it should go without saying that we think her portrayer, Sophia Bush, is pretty excellent, too.

Like Brooke, Sophia has long been a champion for empowered women — and though she’s about to start filming her new show, “Partners,” she and Brooke joined forces one last time to help an organization that aspires to encourage young women to use their voices.

When we spoke with Sophia earlier this year, she joked that she one day wanted to sneak into Warner Bros. and raid Brooke Davis’ wardrobe. Though she didn’t have to resort to a life of crime, she did manage to pilfer some favorite outfits — for a very good cause.

Bush pulled out some of her favorite B. Davis fashions to donate to I Am That Girl through Closets for Causes. The lingerie Brooke wore for Julian, the dress she wore when Lucas married Peyton, it’s all there — from professional businesswear to cozy jeans and sweaters. Sophia even included stuff she wore to premieres and photo shoots (even a TRL taping)! An eagle-eyed fan will also be able to spot some key wardrobe pieces from other “One Tree Hill” characters, too.

You can bid on the clothes through Closets for Causes on Ebay. Proceeds go to I Am That Girl, which combats negative attitudes toward women and girls in the media. “By building community and providing girls with a space to consume healthy media,
we can silence their crippling self-doubt long enough for girls to
think for themselves, discover their voice and speak their truth. This
community that provokes meaningful and mindful conversations enables
girls to have a higher sense of self worth,” reads the organization’s mission statement.

Sophia posted a message on her WhoSay about the project:

When OTH wrapped, I knew that Brooke Davis,
her humor, and her passion for her girlfriends, would always be a part
of me. So I lovingly combed years of Brooke’s stuff, putting together
some massive boxes to bring home, so that I could spend some time
pondering how to make her legacy mean something for women. Brooke was a
champion of women. And an example of the kind of woman who never gives
up, and who always stands up for the people in her life. I’m honored to
have played her. I’m lucky to have loved her. And I am thrilled to share
her with all of you. Check out the links, remember our history. You’ll
find pieces of her wardrobe from many episodes. And since fashion was so
important to her, and is so important to me, I’ve also included many
pieces that I’ve been photographed in over the years. Items from events
and photoshoots! I’m hoping to turn our pretty things into bright
futures for girls everywhere.

If fashion isn’t your thing but you’re looking to do something positive with your pocket money, Sophia is also raising money (and awareness, so get tweeting!) for Pencils of Promise to build a school in Guadalupana, Guatemala. In honor of her upcoming 30th birthday, she’s looking to raise $30,000 through Crowdrise. Get more info at this link, and watch the video below.
