carrie underwood sound of music live tweets 'Sound of Music's' Carrie Underwood: 'I am so blessed,' tweets pics from the wrap partyWhether or not you liked NBC’s live “Sound of Music” starring Carrie Underwood and Stephen Moyer — and the online reaction definitely runs the gamut — we can all agree everybody worked their tails off for three hours of live TV Thursday night (Dec. 5), right? What better way to celebrate than with a glass of wine.

Underwood tweets the above pictures, along with captions exclaiming how much she’s going to miss the actors who played the Von Trapp children for the production. They’ve been working together non-stop for weeks now — we always felt a little withdrawal when a play we were in closed, so we imagine it’s the same for the “Sound of Music” gang.

The “American Idol” winner also writes, “Glory to God tonight…I couldn’t be more proud. What a tough thing to pull off and we did it! I am so blessed!!!”

Star Ariane Rinehart, who played Liesl in the production, adds on Twitter, “Seriously an absolutely amazing performance tonight. @carrieunderwood, you were incredible – singing, acting, WOW.  @LauraBenanti stunning as always, in every way. @AudraEqualityMc tears to be shed at every moment…so powerful. and my non-Twitter friends, Stephen and Christian – truly truly wonderful acting and performances.”

She also reveals the “Sound of Music” cast was getting quite a kick out of actress Anna Kendrick’s live-tweeting of the production — that’s worth a read, it’s really funny.
