The network, home to “Project Runway” and “Dance Moms,” said the competition will feature “aspiring food product inventors [pitching] their concepts to a panel of industry experts.”
Like ABC’s “Shark Tank,” each episode’s winner will receive an investment in their product, plus a chance to return for the season finale. There, one contestant will claim the grand prize: having their product featured in grocery stores across the country.
Lifetime has ordered 10 episodes of the series.
