The final season of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” debuted on Netflix on Friday (March 7) in its entirety. Did Season 6, “The Lost Missions,” tie up all the loose ends of the series, or were 13 episodes not enough?

After “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” was canceled, many fans were upset. Sure, it was announced that there still would be a Season 6, but no one knew in what capacity. Then Netflix picked up the final season, and while some storylines did not get closure, the online streaming service provided a satisfactory end to the series.

Season 6 is comprised of four different storylines overall, with each one ranging from two to four episodes in length. The opening story arc focused on how Order 66 was planned, the second revolved around Padme and her ex, Rush Clovis, and their banking troubles before moving on to Anakin and Padme’s relationship. The next arc focused on Jar Jar Binks, one of the most polarizing “Star Wars” characters, as he is paired up with Mace Windu.

The final arc was the season’s best, as it focused on Yoda’s adventurous journey that gives some very important insight into the past and future of the whole “Star Wars” saga. It also features some surprise cameos from fan-favorite characters (which we won’t spoil here).

Unfortunately, due to time constraints, Season 6 did not get a chance to tie up the storylines for Ahsoka Tano, Darth Maul or Captain Rex. Are you bummed at the lack of closure on those character arcs, or are you content with how much “The Lost Missions” was able to accomplish?

“Star Wars: The Clone Wars” Season 6 is now available on Netflix in its entirety.
