Shortly after Steve Jobs passed away in October 2011, former Apple employee Craig Elliott released a short in-house Apple film of Jobs dressed as President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The film is called “1944” and was a take-off on “1984,” the Macintosh commercial that caused a stir during the 1984 Super Bowl.

Now the full version of “1944” been released (the short clip is above). Buzzblog has it and it runs nearly nine minutes. Elliot says it was screened at a company meeting in Hawaii as part of an effort to rally the sales team.

Elliot also says he has never “seen (the film) anywhere else” and that there has been “no additional circulation” as far as he knows. So, check it out and let us know what you think.
