Rod Roddenberry (son of "Star Trek" creator Gene Roddenberry and

chief executive of Roddenberry Productions) hosted a “A Star Trek XI Roddenberry

Evening” on Catalina Island on May 9.

Saturday night was a happy reunion for "Star Trek" veterans, including

original cast members George Takei and Nichelle

And don't they both look amazing? Hey, have they been time traveling?

Let's hope there's more time travel in the next J.J. Abrams "Star Trek" so we can bring these wonderful actors back, just like the original Mr. Spock, Leonard Nimoy, appeared in this one.

We just wish Scottie (James Doohan) were still around. And Bones (DeForest Kelley).

And where the heck is Chekov, a.k.a. Walter Koenig? Anyone know?

Any Trekkies out there who saw the film this weekend? What did you think? Favorite parts?
