coach-wade-survivor.JPGBenjamin “Coach” Wade was the runner-up of “Survivor: South Pacific.” He tells Zap2it that he wouldn’t do anything differently and that he is now retired from the game of “Survivor.”

Are you glad you went back to Survivor?  Was it everything you hoped it would be?

“I’m very glad that I came back and did ‘Survivor’ for a third time. It was great all around. I mean I got to coach Cochran, I got to lead my tribe from start to finish and I made it all the way to the end.”

Do you wish you would’ve done the final Tribal Council differently?

“A little trouble is always tricky. I’ve seen people come in and be too arrogant like Russell and lose because of it, and then other people come in to humble. I tried to find the right mixture of humility and also owning my actions. Apparently I didn’t do enough, but I would not do anything differently.”

Do you think you played an honorable game?

“I’m very proud of the way that I played this game. I might not have played it perfectly, but in the end nobody’s perfect. I make mistakes.”

Are things OK between you and Brandon? He said his vote for Sophie was partially because he didn’t want to vote for you.

“Yes, everything is okay with me and Brandon. I’m not like Mikayla or Stacey or Christine that holds grudges over long periods of time. I’ve forgiven everybody and I hope they return that form of humanity and forgive me as well.”

Would you go back to “Survivor” again if asked?

“I am done with a game of ‘Survivor.’ I had a wonderful experience this last time for 39 days. I do not want to jeopardize those memories, so I will be retiring here on out.”

Any final thoughts or messages to your fans?

“The only thing that I would like to say to the fans is that I appreciate their support through thick and thin. Look for my movie ‘180’ that’s coming out in February. And also look for the new show the Coach is gonna be hosting fall 2012.”
