A plucky Susan Boyle gave an even more walloping performance of her original "I Dreamed a Dream" on "Britain's Got Talent," wowing all the judges and the audience.
But it wasn't enough. She was still beaten by a young dance troupe called Diversity.
Asked if giving her performance was worth all the pressure of what's been called the Boyle Backlash the past few weeks, she exclaimed, "Well worth it!," adding that she felt very at home onstage where she was "among friends, am I not?"
Judge Piers Morgan told her he could not be impartial and that she deserved to win. Judge Amanda Holden said, "You did it girl, You did it for Scotland and for Britain,"
Even Simon Cowell added, "Win or lose, you had the guts to come back here, face your critics and you beat them. And that's the most important thing. Whatever happens, you can walk away from this with your head held high, Susan."

]]> But despite all the praise, Susan Boyle was beaten by a dance group Diversity. The 10-piece dance group was crowned winner and they all jumped for joy as Susan looked on stunned. Diversity won about $160,000 and will perform for the queen at the Royal Variety Show.
Boyle congratulated them, according to the Mirror, saying: “The best people won. That’s showbiz.” And then she did a little shimmy, lifting her skirt to show a bit of leg as she walked off the stage, smiling.
Asked what she’ll do next, Susan added: “I hope to get an album out and I’ll just play it by ear. What a journey. It was unbelievable and very humbling. Thank you for everything.”
Did AT&T have any involvement in this voting? Just wondering …
What do you think? Did Diversity deserve to win? Or was Susan Boyle totally robbed?
