The People’s Choice Awards is bringing Taylor Swift to the stage.
The country-pop sweetheart is among the many stars named to attend the 2010 People’s Choice Awards.
Often in years past, the stars that are in attendance also tend to be winners if they’re nominated. Swift has been nominated for multiple awards this year. Check out the full 2010 People’s Choice nominees list.
On the TV side, Katie Cassidy (“Melrose Place,” “Harper’s Island”), James Denton (“Desperate Housewives”), Greg Grunberg (“Heroes”), Alyson Hannigan (“How I Met Your Mother”), Cory Monteith (“Glee”), Jeff Probst (“Survivor”) and Christian Slater (“The Forgotten”) also will be on hand.
On the movies side, “Inglourious Basterds” stars Eli Roth and Diane Kruger, “Bruno’s” alter ego Sacha Baron Cohen, and Jessica Alba, who stars in the upcoming romantic comedy “Valentine’s Day,” will attend.
Rascal Flatts will add more country music in the mix as well.
Previously announced talent: Sandra Bullock, Colbie Caillat, Mariah Carey, Steve Carell, Jackie Chan, Chevy Chase, Kaley Cuoco, Ellen DeGeneres, Jenna Elfman, Johnny Galecki, Ginnifer Goodwin, Tim Gunn, Taraji P. Henson, Josh Holloway, LL COOL J, Hugh Jackman, Ashton Kutcher, Hugh Laurie, Taylor Lautner, George Lopez, Kellan Lutz, Kathryn Morris, Jim Parsons, Paula Patton, Ryan Reynolds, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Sofia Vergara and Kate Walsh.
As far as actual live performances, the People’s Choice Awards announced that Cobra Starship will perform with special guest Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls fame. Cobra Starship was nominated for their collaboration with “Gossip Girl” Leighton Meester on “Good Girls Go Bad.” A performance by Mary J. Blige was also previously announced.
As previously reported, the broadcast will also feature sneak peeks of “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” and the upcoming films “Clash of the Titans” and “Robin Hood.”
The awards will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on Wednesday, Jan. 6 beginning at 9 p.m. ET/delayed PT on CBS.
