taylor swift prince william bon jovi kensington palace Taylor Swift sings with Prince William, Bon Jovi watch the videoPop-country princess Taylor Swift was invited to Kensington Palace in London for the Nov. 26 Winter Whites Gala in Aid of Centrepoint — Centrepoint is a charity that combats homelessness, which Prince William has been a patron of for years.

During the gala, Swift got up on stage sang “Livin’ on a Prayer” with rocker Jon Bon Jovi — and the Prince joined in. Cue all the squeeing. All the squeeing in the world. She tells NBC News in the video below that Wills is “very funny, very cool.”

Who wasn’t in attendance? The Prince’s wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. NBC News speculates that it’s because Prince William wanted the focus to be on the charity and not his beloved wife, but also — they do have a four-month-old at home. Maybe she wanted a quiet night home with the baby.

Either way, the video is below. Check it out. That lucky Taylor Swift.
