taylorswift 2009cmas 290 Taylor Swift's 'Forever & Always' kicks off the CMAsTaylor Swift, who at 19 is the youngest ever CMA nominee for Performer of the Year, kicked off the Wednesday (Nov. 11) night Country Music Awards with a performance of her song “Forever & Always.”

Beginning with a video clip of “Access Hollywood’s” Nancy O’Dell asking if she’s ever named names of the boys who’ve done her wrong in her songs, Swift responds, “If guys don’t want me to write songs about them they shouldn’t do bad things.”

While not as blatant as Miley Cyrus’ Teen Choice Awards pole dance, Swift did slide down a pole, tosses about some furniture and flounces about while singing away.

We’re assured she sounds much better recorded, but weren’t terribly impressed by her live performance which sounded like she could use a few lessons in breath control.

Likes: seasons with no more than 13 episodes, anti-heroes and binge-watching. Dislikes: when cartoon characters make out, when TV shows name check their titles, drawn out premieres and finales. TV words to live by: "If every porkchop was perfect, we wouldn't have hot dogs."
