In a “Bachelor” season full of shocking twists, things do not slow down on Monday’s episode (Feb. 8).
According to the clips, Jake meets Gia’s family in New York. They are quite concerned about her getting hurt again, with her brother going so far as to tell Jake that if he has to, he’ll “hunt you down and break a few legs.”
Okey dokey, Gia’s brother!
Jake also has the pleasure of finding out where Vienna comes from. You can see the resemblance between Vienna and her father, not only in appearance but the fact that they both think Vienna should be treated a certain way. Her dad even admits, “I treat Vienna like a princess, that’s how I expect her to be treated.” Yeah, that attitude doesn’t raise a spoiled girl with daddy issues at all!
In the waning minutes of the show, host Chris Harrison and Jake walk to the rose ceremony and Chris dramatically announces, “Ladies, for the first time ever there will be no rose ceremony.” All four women are shown to be standing there when he says it, so no one has left early.
We wonder what it might mean? Nobody going home? Or somebody leaving who doesn’t know it yet or hasn’t announced it yet? Maybe Jake has an “I choose me” moment? Or maybe it’s finally time for Jake to announce he’s running off with host Chris Harrison. Now THAT would be the most dramatic rose ceremony ever.
