jeremy britt the biggest loser episode nbc 'The Biggest Loser': Jeremy Britt talks walkout episode and the unfair twistJeremy Britt was one of five contestants to threaten to quit on Tuesday’s (April 17) highly anticipated episode of “The Biggest Loser” over the twist in which previously eliminated contestants would be allowed to compete for a chance to return. Britt opted to stay in the game only to be eliminated for the lowest weight loss this week.

So does he regret the decision to stay?

“At the moment when I was eliminated, kind of,” Britt says during a conference call Wednesday. “I made it a point to stay so I could go to my interviews and I could speak my side of what was going on.”

Host Alison Sweeney and a lawyer for the show sat down with each of the contestants during the episode to discuss the revolt. During Britt’s sit-down, the attorney pointed out that the show’s contract clearly states that previously eliminated contestants will be allowed back into the competition. Britt says the portion of the conversation NBC opted to show (below) didn’t really paint him in the best light, though.

“I kind of felt they made me out to look dumb,” he says.”There was a lot more to that. What they choose to show is what they choose to show. I made it a point that I wasn’t there to argue contracts. Of course, NBC legal is a lot better than Jeremy Britt legal. … I’m not as dumb as they try to make me look. I did read the contract.”

And now, ironically, the very twist Britt protested may allow him an opportunity to get back in the game.

What did you think of the episode?
