Bigelow has directed a handful of TV episodes in the past, including “Homicide” and “Karen Sisco,” but “The Miraculous Year” will be her first pilot. It’s also the first stab at series writing for Logan, whose play “Red” opens on Broadway in April.

Bigelow’s next feature project is “Triple Frontier,” an action film set in South America on which she’s re-teaming with “Hurt Locker” writer Mark Boal.
