the simpsons season 26 renewal 'The Simpsons' renewed by FOX for Season 26

“The Simpsons” isn’t going anywhere. Following it’s Season 25 premiere, FOX has renewed the show yet again. Homer, Marge and the kids will return for Season 26 in the Fall of 2013.
That means the show will continue to extend it’s record as the longest-running scripted show in the history of TV. “It’s one of the greatest sitcoms of our time,” FOX Chairman of Entertainment Kevin Reily says.
Just in time to celebrate the renewal comes the annual “Treehouse of Horror” episode, which collects a few scary stories as told through the eyes of Springfield. “The Simpsons” airs Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
