Here’s your first peek at the latest “Treehouse of Horror” from “The Simpsons.” This is the 24th anniversary f the Halloween special and the intro is the biggest one yet, directed by none other than Guillermo del Toro.
The intro runs nearly three minutes and pays tribute to tons of scary movies, monsters and even “Alice in Wonderland.” The best part is del Toro’s shout out to his own “Hellboy” movies, though the nod to Alfred Hitchcock is pretty great.
“Treehouse of Horror XXIV” airs Sunday, October 6, on FOX.

You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
