have decided to give your week a much-needed wake-up call with 10 TV
teasers — just to remind you that when the work day is over, your DVR
waits to welcome you home.

For this week’s Monday Kickstart,
we’ve got scoop on a “Castle” case, a new character on “Glee,” and some seriously freaky behavior on “Fringe”… and much, much more.

“The Vampire Diaries”: Episode 7 of this season will bring us back to the annual Miss Mystic Falls pageant! That means vamps in suits, y’all. As the reigning winner, Caroline has some duties to perform, but she’s distracted — not only by Klaus, who hasn’t given up on pursuing her yet, but also by a rare clash with Elena. Oh… and there’s a moment that mirrors a top fan-favorite scene from Season 1. Specifically, one that’s had over 2 million views on YouTube.

“Castle”: Nerd alert! In an upcoming episode, Castle and Beckett will be investigating a murder that takes place at SuperNovaCon, a science fiction convention not unlike Comic-Con. The victim and her best friend were working on creating the “Nebula-9 Fan Experience” for the con when tragedy struck.

: A new major recurring role will be introduced in episode 407. Prepare to meet the very handsome Peter Livingston, a high school student fresh out of military school. Producers are looking for someone pretty imposing to play the part — he’s got to be over 5’11” and have “gravitas.” Peter is described as “handsome, evil and dashing,” and he’s got to have singing and dancing skills.

“Bones”: It’s safe to say that having a child doesn’t kill the spark in Brennan and Booth’s relationship. In a episode 806, “The Diamond In The Rough,” fans can look forward to a laugh when a janitor busts them… making out in his custodial closet. So romantic.

“Fringe”: In the Observer-controlled future, there’s a general lack of decency and dignity, most notably when it comes to a group of people referred to as Amber Gypsies. These creepy mercenaries cut out blocks of amber — with human being still encased inside of it — and sell it. And people use the ambered humans as furniture. Real nice, right?

“Hart of Dixie”: Prepare your ovaries, girls. While we wouldn’t necessarily choose Wade as the best role model ever for a group of young kids, when he and George take a Little Rangers youth group camping, we’ll see him form a special bond with one boy… and we will swoon. (Of course, Wade’s main priority on the camping trip is avoiding George, which George doesn’t make particularly easy.)

“Revenge”: The first season kicked off with a shocking event and then immediately flashed back several months — and the second season follows the same format. Within the first few moments of the Season 2 premiere, we’ll see wreckage, a revealing photograph… and a dead body. And then, once again, we’ll flash back, meeting our favorite characters as they begin yet another summer in the Hamptons. Emily is still plotting, Victoria is gone, Ashley and Daniel are together, and Jack… is not in a good place at all.

“Suits”: Producers are casting for a large guest star arc. They’re looking for a middle-aged man with a British, European, or Australian accent to play Stephen. the head of a London-based international law firm. He’s described as “avuncular, unassuming, and likeable,” and people tend to write him off, but he’s surprisingly smart… and deceptive.

“New Girl”
: After Jess gets fired from her teaching job, she’s really not doing so great. In the second episode, she hooks up with a guy who has been to 43 Creed concerts. Also, he thinks her name is Katie, and that she’s “a dancer and/or something involving puppets.” Did we mention he’s been to 43 Creed concerts? We need to mention that twice.

“Happy Endings”: If you’ve ever wondered what Jane was like as a kid, you’re about to find out in a quick flashback… which explains how Jane changed her birthday. Because apparently that’s a thing that people do.
