Because she’s a model of modern conservative motherhood, “The View’s” Elisabeth Hasselbeck came up with a novel strategery for broaching the subject of Osama Bin Laden’s recent death with her three small children: poetry.
On Wednesday’s (May 4) show, Hasselbeck recited a simple self-composed ditty she wrote for her children — who she claimed are too young to understand any of this anyway, then sat back pleased as punch with her own grisly wit:
“Osama Bin Laden was a very bad guy,
He hurt many people, don’t ask me why,
We shot him in the head and now he is dead,
Now close your eyes and go to bed.”
We wonder when they’ll be old enough to understand that mom is kind of inappropriate.
