No, that headline did not come from one of those weird dreams you have when you go to bed drunk. It actually happened.
On Sunday (Oct. 9), a fan threw a hot dog at Tiger Woods during the Frys tournament in San Martin, Calif. “I guess he wanted to be in the news…And I’m sure he will be,” Tiger said, unshaken.
Now, the hot-dog thrower speaks! 31-year-old Brandon Kelly of Petaluma, Calif. tells the Press Democrat that he was inspired to throw it after seeing Ryan Gosling’s latest film, “Drive.”
Seriously.”As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, ‘I have to do
something courageous and epic. I have to throw a hot dog on the green in
front of Tiger,'” he says. The morning before he made the fateful throw, Kelly took a photo of himself in his car, holding his hot dog by the steering wheel.
No, that’s not a euphemism.
