Pop superstar Taylor Swift is beloved pretty much worldwide, which is why it’s no surprise she was named to Time’s 100 most influential people list. Each entry on the annual list had his or her segment written by a fellow celebrity and for T-Swizzle, the call was obvious — Mariska Hargitay, after whose “Law & Order: SVU” character Swift named her cat, Olivia Benson.
But who knew Hargitay was such a massive Swifty?
Hargitay writes that Swift rocks her back on her heels every time she sees the singer. “Megawatt talent, an extraordinary spirit, an impossibly charming blend of impishness, poise and radiance to spare,” gushes the actress.
“I’m amazed at how much earned wisdom Taylor threads into her work,” Hargitay continues. “I’m always trying to find the best words to talk to my kids (and myself) about growing up, but you can’t top her beautifully articulated advice. The haters are gonna hate, but, well, shake it off. She illuminates our inner music that lets us dance to our own beat … perhaps the most exciting thing about Taylor is that she’s just getting started with what she plans to mine from her fierce, curious, boundlessly talented and beautiful heart.”
Sounds like Hargitay is in the running for president of the Taylor Swift fan club.
