worst kiss ever TLC's 'Virgin Diaries' returns for more awkwardnessTLC certainly knows how to keep things interesting with “Virgin Diaries.” The show that first aired in December 2011 focused on Ryan and Shanna, a couple who shared their first kiss at their wedding. “Virgin Diaries” will air two new episodes July 18 and July 25 at 10 p.m. on TLC.

The two episodes will introduce America to three virgins including 34-year-old Skippy, a devout Mormon who lives in his parents’ basement, and Karissa, who is afraid of the unknown.

In an interview with People, Skippy admits to the difficulty of finding the one when he still lives with his parents. To poke fun at his situation, Skippy designs romantic T-shirts such as “I made out with Skippy for three minutes, and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.”

The couple that helped spark interest in the series, Ryan and Shanna, are back for viewers to see how they’re doing.

Ryan and Shanna have their own website and give advice to other couples on how to make their marriages strong. They note that Shanna’s infamous wedding dress will be listed on E-Bay this week.

“Virgin Diaries” is the latest TLC reality show to spark controversy and interest. From “My Strange Addiction”, “My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding”, “19 Kids and Counting”, and “Toddlers & Tiaras“, the shows have helped to start the conversation on the purpose of reality television.

Will you tune in to see how Ryan and Shanna are doing? What’s your idea for a new reality show?
