Police tell the AP that a security guard at actor Tom Cruise‘s house stun-gunned an intruder, but the man turned out to be an intoxicated neighbor who decided to explore the property.
Around 9:30 p.m. local time Sunday at Cruise’s Beverly Hills-area home, the guard saw a man “climbing a fence to gain access to the property.” The guard promptly stun-gunned the man and waited for police. Neither Cruise nor any of his children were home at the time of the incident.
The 41-year-old neighbor was taken in to custody for trespassing. He was found to be intoxicated and was treated at a nearby hospital for any problems that may have stemmed from the stun gun.
We were kind of hoping this story was about Cruise himself taking down a would-be prowler, a la LL Cool J back in August.
