lea michele matthew morrison tony awards Tony Awards: 'Glee's' Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison return to Broadway“Glee” stars Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison came back to Broadway for the 2010 Tony Awards. Morrison performed “All I Need is the Girl” from “Gypsy” and Michele performed “Don’t Rain on My Parade” from “Funny Girl”, which she also did for sectionals on “Glee” back in December.

Both Lea and Matt got their starts on Broadway. Lea debuted in the 1995 original New York production of “Les Miserables” as the replacement Cosette. She has also appeared in “Ragtime”, “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Spring Awakening.”

Morrison got started on the Great White Way in “Footloose” and went on to appear in “The Rocky Horror Show”, “Hairspray” and “The Light in the Piazza”, for which he received a Tony nomination.
