Tori Spelling is an expert on the post-pregnancy slimdown.
After all, she has done it twice; after the births of Liam, now 2, and Stella, now 11 months. But while most celebrity moms use diets to drop the poundage — 5 Factor, Weight Watchers, Master Cleanse, you name it — Tori Spelling is touting a new approach: balanced eating. Say what?
The new mom told US Weekly that losing weight after her first pregnancy was a drag, because she did it with a strict diet and exercise regimen. So, the second time around, Spelling did things a little differently. She started cooking organic meals with her hubby and
kids, and traded in her strict exercise regimen for a baby jogger and
bicycle. Oddly enough, the pounds started melting off.
"The weight came off a lot quicker when I wasn't like, 'Oh, I have to follow this diet regime!' It was just easier doing it the natural way," Spelling told US Weekly.
Spelling has been all over the news lately; for her highly-publicized drama with mother Candy Spelling, the release of her new book, "Mommywood," and her guest spot on "90210."
