One of the takeaways from Monday (Mar. 5) night’s “The Voice” was just how much we enjoy Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” Nearly 30 years have passed and “Turn around, Bright Eyes” still gets us.

The battle between Angie Johnson and Cheesa Laureta was one of the closest of the night. But as good as it was, there’s something out there even better.

Last month, Zeborah, a Doctor Who fan from New Zealand, decided to put together a fanvid, “Literal Eclipse of the Heart.”

Normally, literal videos re-record the songs to describe the actions taking place in the actual video (see: “Take On Me”). Zeborah one upped that standard and altered not only the “Total Eclipse of the Heart” lyrics, but also set it to 5 and a half minutes of “Doctor Who” clips encompassing the six most recent seasons.

It really takes fandom to a new level.

Likes: seasons with no more than 13 episodes, anti-heroes and binge-watching. Dislikes: when cartoon characters make out, when TV shows name check their titles, drawn out premieres and finales. TV words to live by: "If every porkchop was perfect, we wouldn't have hot dogs."
