Expect the unexpected with “The Walking Dead,” even if it is on the red carpet.
At the premiere screening of the AMC zombie apocalypse drama in Hollywood on Tuesday (Oc. 26), a debate sparks between “True Blood” actress Lindsey Haun and “Breaking Bad’s” RJ Mitte over the various merits of the undead.
The two have been filming the supernatural thriller “House of Last Things” in Oregon, but take a break to attend the “Walking Dead” premiere because Mitte, who plays Junior on “Breaking Bad,” has been excited for the show for a while.
Naturally, with the nature of the event and Haun playing Hadley, a vampire queen’s consort, on “True Blood,” the conversation turns to “Who’s better: Vampires or zombies?”
It’s a completely silly argument that the two actors have, but it’s fun to see the camaraderie. Mitte also gets pretty creative explaining one of his zombie defense strategies.
“The Walking Dead” premieres on Halloween Sunday (Oct. 31) at 10 p.m. ET.
