TV Line is reporting that Lucy Griffiths has been cast as Nora in “True Blood.” Nora is the vampire “sister” to Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard), as they were both created by Godric. She’ll join as a series regular.

According to TV Line’s details, Nora will be working as a double agent inside the Vampire Authority and is described as intelligent, intimidating, cool under pressure and a good liar. She loves Eric deeply.

Lucy is a relative unknown in the United States. This Brit’s biggest gig so far has been starring as Maid Marian in BBC series “Robin Hood.”

“True Blood” returns in the summer of 2012.
