shaq vs fingers crossed TV Ratings: ABC's 'Shaq vs.' can't stand up to 'America's Got Talent'Fast National ratings for Tuesday, August 3, 2010

5.4 million viewers turned in to watch the premiere of ABC’s “Shaq Vs.,” in which NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. beat Shaquille O’Neal at… well, NASCAR driving. It wasn’t the only series premiere. The CW also launched Canadian series “18 to Life” to a weak reception.

NBC came in first with an average of 7.7 million viewers, and a 4.6/8 share, while CBS followed close behind (7.1 million, 4.8/8). In third place was Fox, with an average of 6.4 million (3.7/6). Shaq landed ABC the number four spot (6.3 million, 3.8/6) and The CW trailed with 1.1 million viewers and a 0.8/1 share.

Once again, Fox took the key demographic with a 2.9 share, followed by NBC (2.1), ABC (2.1), CBS (1.2) and The CW (0.4).
