“American Idol” rebounded some from its Tuesday numbers to lead FOX to a ratings win on Wednesday night (though it was still down a bit from last week). Elsewhere, a number of viewers moved out of “Happy Town” on ABC.

FOX scored 11.75 million viewers and a 7.0 rating/12 share to lead the night. CBS (9.8 million, 6.1/11) came in second, and NBC (5.9 million, 3.8/7) edged out ABC (5.8 million, 3.7/6) for third. The CW trailed with 2.2 million viewers and a 1.4/2.

FOX also led among adults 18-49 with a 3.8 rating. CBS took second in the demographic with a 2.4, followed by ABC at 2.0. NBC finished fourth with a 1.7, and The CW drew a 1.0.
