“America’s Got Talent” was down a tick from last week’s ratings, but it still finished as Tuesday’s top show. NBC also ran encores of the “Go On” and “Animal Practice” pilots that previewed during the Olympics, and unsurprisingly their numbers were much, much lower. Still, for summer comedy repeats, they did all right.

NBC led the night with 7.9 million viewers and a 4.9 rating/8 share in households. CBS (7.15 million, 4.8/8) was second in viewers, finishing well ahead of FOX (4.7 million, 2.8/5). ABC came in fourth with 3 million viewers and a 2.1/3. The CW (735,000, 0.5/1) trailed.

NBC also led the adults 18-49 demographic — barely. Its 2.0 rating just beat FOX’s 1.9. CBS took third with a 1.1, followed by ABC, 0.8, and The CW, 0.3.
