big brother ratings aug 30 TV ratings: 'Big Brother' eviction of Aaryn Gries big for CBSFast National ratings for Thursday, Aug. 30, 2013

Aaryn Gries‘ eviction from the “Big Brother” house saw the ratings jump over 1.5 million viewers from last week, leading CBS to a win across the board, while all network numbers were somewhat inflated by preseason NFL games.

It will depend on what adjustments are made in terms of NFL games, but “Big Brother’s” 8.4 million right now is a season high.

CBS averaged 7.2 million viewers and a 4.6 rating/8 share in households for the win, followed by ABC at 6.3 million and a 4.0/7, NBC at 4.9 million and a 3.2/5, FOX at 4.5 million and a 2.7/5 and the CW at 1.1 million and an 0.7/1.

In adults 18-49, CBS also won with a 2.0, followed by NBC (1.5), ABC and FOX at 1.4 and the CW at 0.4.
