FOX’s comedies were also up a little, and “Hart of Dixie” improved on its numbers as well. On the downside, “Emily Owens, M.D.,” “Vegas” and “Parenthood” all lost some viewers opposite the “DWTS” finale (though “Parenthood” was up in adults 18-49).

CBS led the night in viewers with 14.4 million and a 9.0 rating/14 share in households. ABC (13.85 million, 8.7/13) was a close second. NBC took third with 7 million viewers and a 4.4/7. FOX (3.45 million, 2.2/3) came in fourth, and The CW (1.2 million, 0.8/1) trailed.

The race for the adults 18-49 lead was a tight one, with ABC’s 2.8 rating coming out on top. CBS scored a 2.7 in the demographic, followed by NBC at 2.5. FOX drew a 1.7 and The CW a 0.4.
