glee quarterback ratings TV ratings: 'Glee's' Cory Monteith tribute draws strong numbers, 'Wonderland' premiere doesn'tFast National ratings for Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013

The “Glee” farewell to Cory Monteith drew the show’s biggest audience in more than a year as a sizable number of viewers returned for the tribute episode. The episode tied ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” for the lead among adults 18-49 in its hour.

Elsewhere Thursday, the premiere of “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” didn’t do much for ABC, opening below where “Last Resort” did in same timeslot last year. NBC’s comedies were down across the board, and ABC’s “Scandal” took a bit of a hit as well, although it still led its hour. “The Millers” dipped only slightly for CBS, scoring the best week-two retention of any new series thus far this fall.

CBS drew just under 11 million viewers and a 6.9 rating/11 share in households for the night. ABC (7.8 million, 5.2/8) came in second, beating out FOX (6.85 million, 4.3/7). NBC (3.4 million, 2.2/4) finished fourth, and The CW (2.2 million, 1.5/2) trailed.

CBS also led the 18-49 demographic with a 2.8 rating. ABC took second with a 2.5, edging FOX’s 2.4. NBC averaged 1.1 and The CW 0.9.
