NBC got pretty decent ratings from its new Tuesday lineup, as “Go On” pulled in solid numbers in its time-period premiere and “The New Normal” drew ratings almost identical to its Monday debut. “The Voice” was off a little bit from Monday’s premiere but still drew the night’s biggest audience.

“Parenthood” was also in line with its usual ratings. The caveat, of course, is that the other networks are still in summer mode — the only other original offering Tuesday night was “So You Think You Can Dance” on FOX.

NBC led the night with 8.4 million viewers and a 5.4 rating/9 share in households. CBS (7.5 million, 5.1/8) came in second in viewers, well ahead of FOX’s 4.3 million and 2.6/4. ABC (2.4 million, 1.7/3) took fourth. The CW trailed with 670,000 viewers and a 0.4/1.

NBC’s lead among adults 18-49 was wider — its 2.9 rating almost doubled the 1.5 for No. 2 FOX. CBS finished third in the demographic with a 1.2, and neither ABC (0.7) nor The CW (0.3) broke the 1.0 barrier.
