A two-hour edition of “The Voice” Tuesday was down some from last week’s one-hour show, but it still carried NBC to a win in the 18-49 demographic for the night. It also provided a good platform for “Grimm,” which debuted in the 10 o’clock timeslot with its best numbers since October.

Also Tuesday, “NCIS” was up over last week for CBS, although “NCIS: LA” fell. “Dancing With the Stars” took a tumble for ABC, which also saw “Splash” erode further. On the upside, though, Diane Sawyer’s interview with Amanda Knox scored decent numbers at 10 p.m. “Hart of Dixie” improved over last week for The CW.

CBS averaged 12.8 million viewers and an 8.2 rating/13 share in households for the night, leading second-place NBC (9.75 million, 6.1/10) by about 3 million viewers. ABC (7.8 million, 5.3/8) came in third. FOX was a distant fourth at 3.9 million viewers and a 2.4/4, and The CW (874,000, 0.6/1) trailed.

NBC scored the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 3.1 rating. CBS finished second in the demo with a 2.2, followed by FOX at 1.8. ABC drew a 1.4 and The CW a 0.4.
