The season finale of “How I Met Your Mother” — in which the show finally revealed the identity of the Mother — got a big ratings bump Monday. It improved by eight tenths of a point among adults 18-49 and even led NBC’s “The Voice” in their shared half-hour (“The Voice” built in its second half-hour, though, and led the 8-9 o’clock hour overall).

The finales of “2 Broke Girls” on CBS and “Castle” on ABC were also up over last week, though not quite as dramatically. “The Voice” and “Revolution” both fell slightly from last week, while the series finale of “90210” went out with a whimper for The CW.

ABC led the night in viewers, drawing 12.4 million people and an 8.2 rating/13 share in households. NBC (9.3 million, 5.7/9) came in second, beating out CBS’ 8.1 million viewers and 5.1/8. FOX averaged 4 million viewers and a 2.5/4 to take fourth, and The CW (621,000, 0.4/1) trailed.

NBC grabbed the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 3.1 rating. CBS finished second with a 2.5. ABC was third with a 2.0, followed by FOX, 1.7, and The CW, 0.3.
