“America’s Got Talent” carried NBC to an overall ratings win Tuesday night, but its numbers were among the lowest of the season for the Tuesday edition. The finale of “Masterchef,” meanwhile, gave FOX a win among adults 18-49.

NBC averaged 8.1 million viewers and a 5.0 rating/8 share in households in primetime. CBS (7.4 million, 5.0/8) was not far behind in second, while FOX took third with 6.5 million viewers and a 3.9/6. ABC (4.2 million, 2.6/4) finished off the pace in fourth, while The CW came in with 865,000 viewers and a 0.6/1.

FOX’s 2.6 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic was the night’s best, beating NBC’s 2.2. ABC, 1.3, edged CBS, 1.2, for third place. The CW drew a 0.3.
