“American Ninja Warrior” scored some solid ratings gains for NBC Monday, rising three tenths of a point in adults 18-49 and leading the night in the demographic.

A few other shows improved too: “Masterchef” and “24: Live Another Day” rebounded for FOX from lower Memorial Day numbers, and “Beauty and the Beast” returned to The CW to its biggest audience in a year. The Season 2 premiere of “Mistresses” was even with its debut last summer.

ABC led the night in viewers with 5.8 million and a 4.0 rating/7 share in households. FOX (5.7 million, 3.4/6) and CBS (5.5 million, 3.7/6) were close behind. NBC (4.9 million, 2.9/5) came in fourth, and The CW (1.4 million, 0.9/1) was well off the pace.

FOX scored a victory among adults 18-49 with a 1.8 rating, edging NBC’s 1.7 for the lead. ABC took third with a 1.5, followed by CBS, 1.1, and The CW, 0.4.
