“The Voice” is definitely proving itself to be the singing competition du jour, but in the face of new CBS programs, it doesn’t score quite as well. “NCIS” bested NBC’s singing program by over 4 million viewers in their timeslot.

CBS won the night with 12.9 million viewers and an 8.3 rating/13 share in households. ABC was second with 8.8 million and a 5.8/9, followed by NBC at 6.2 million and a 4.1/6, FOX at 3.5 million and a 2.2/3 and the CW at 1.05 million and a 0.7/1.

In the adults 18-49 demo, CBS narrowly edged out NBC, 2.2 versus 2.1, though “The Voice” was the top 18-49 show of the night. ABC and FOX tied for third at 1.5 and the CW was last at 0.4.
