big bang april 10 14 rtgs TV ratings: 'Scandal' rises Thursday, 'Big Bang Theory' down but still dominantFast National ratings for Thursday, April 10, 2014

“The Big Bang Theory” fell to its lowest 18-49 rating of the season on Thursday, but it was still far and away the night’s top show. Despite the dip, it still finished with a rating 53 percent higher than that of the next highest-rated show Thursday, “Scandal.”

The ABC drama was up week to week with its next-to-last episode of the season. A special “Shark Tank” gave the network a boost at 8 o’clock as well, although it was off some from last Friday’s airing. “American Idol” and “Surviving Jack” were even with last week for FOX. The CW’s “Reign” dropped without an original “Vampire Diaries” as a lead-in.

CBS led the night in viewers with 9.8 million and a 6.2 rating/10 share in households. ABC (7.9 million, 5.3/9) came in second. FOX (5 million, 3.2/5) finished third, beating NBC (2.95 million, 2.0/3) by a decent margin. The CW trailed with 1.05 million viewers and a 0.7/1.

ABC and CBS tied for the adults 18-49 lead at 2.4. That was a point better than third-place FOX, 1.4. NBC scored a 1.0 and The CW a 0.4.
