The premiere of “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” brought a good-sized audience to The CW on Wednesday, scoring one of the biggest viewer totals of the summer for the network.

Also Wednesday, CBS’ “Extant” was flat with last week after in adults 18-49 after moving to a later time period. “Big Brother” and “America’s Got Talent” tied atop the 18-49 ratings, while “AGT” had the biggest total audience.

NBC led the viewer race with 7.5 million and a 4.4 rating/8 share in households in primetime. CBS (5.7 million, 3.6/7) came in second. ABC (3.6 million, 2.3/4) edged FOX (3.5 million, 2.2/4) for third. The CW drew 1.15 million viewers and a 0.7/1.

CBS and NBC tied for the lead among adults 18-49 with 1.5 ratings. FOX came in third with a 1.1, followed by ABC, 0.9, and The CW, 0.3.
