It’s pretty safe to say that when it comes to “Fifty Shades of Grey” that no one is talking about much besides Christian (Jamie Dornan) and Ana (Dakota Johnson) and how naked they get for the two-hour-long world phenomenon. Despite how enticing that red room of Christian’s is, though, there actually are other people in the movie — and you’ve probably seen them all before.
So for those who have gone to see the most talked-about movie of 2015 (so far) and were able to notice something besides Dornan’s abs — here’s where you’ve seen those other beautiful faces before.

Marcia Gay Harden
Who she plays: Dr. Grace Trevelyan Grey (Christian’s adopted mother)
Where you’ve seen her before: Marcia Gay Harden is a TV veteran. You can catch her right now on “How to Get Away with Murder” as Hannah Keating. She’s also been on “The Newsroom,” “Trophy Wife,” “Damages” and “The Education of Max Bickford.”
Who she plays: Carla (Ana’s mother)
Where you’ve seen her before: Long before Keira Knightley took the role on the big screen, Ehle took on Lizzy Bennett for the A&E miniseries “Pride & Prejudice” opposite Colin Firth. She also spent a few episodes as the ghost wife of Patrick Wilson in CBS’ one-season drama “A Gifted Man.”
Who he plays: Elliot Grey (Christian’s adopted brother)
Where you’ve seen him before: Luke Grimes was the sixth Walker sibling on “Brothers & Sisters” — the love child product of William Walker (Tom Skerritt) and Courtney Lafferty. Most recently he was the original incarnation of Jessica’s (Deborah Ann Woll) hot boyfriend James on “True Blood” before Nathan Parsons took over in the final season.
Who she plays: Kate Kavanagh (Ana’s roommate)
Where you’ve seen her before: Only two episodes of Mumford’s drama “Lone Star” aired on FOX in 2011, but it was enough to spur internet petitions to keep the show on the air. If you happened to miss those, you might remember Mumford from ABC’s (also short-lived) “The River” the Hallmark holiday movie “Christmas with Holly.”
Who he plays: Bob (Ana’s step father)
Where you’ve seen him before: Dylan Neal played Doug Witter — Pacey’s (Joshua Jackson) gay older brother and eventually Jack’s (Kerr Smith) husband — on “Dawson’s Creek.” Those who aren’t into late-’90s nostalgia could also recognize Neal from his 10 episodes of “Arrow” as Dr. Ivo or starring opposite Andie MacDowell’s Oliva Lockhart on Hallmark Channel’s “Cedar Cove.”
Who he plays: Ray (Ana’s first stepfather/adopted dad)
Where you’ve seen him before: Rennie has popped up on television screens for several things but his most notable appearances include “Californication,” “The Firm,” “The Killing” and “Battlestar Galactica.”
Who he plays: Taylor (Christian’s driver/fixer)
