Back in November 2010, a Wisconsin man was engaged in a 15-hour standoff with the police after he shot his television in a fit of drunken rage and then threatened to kill himself and his family members. What was he so mad about? Bristol Palin advancing on “Dancing With the Stars,” of course.
Now, a man from the Bronx is experiencing similar television-related anger. Freddy Caldwell threatened to blow up WPIX 11, the New York City CW affiliate, for showing too many “Two and a Half Men” repeats.
Dude, we’re sick of the Charlie Sheen over-saturation, too, but that’s just taking it too far.
He phoned the WPIX newsroom first on May 11, and, when they failed to change their broadcast schedule, again on May 23. According to the NY Post, cops easily traced the calls back to his home.
Caldwell has been charged with falsely reporting an incident and aggravated harassment, which leaves us with one question… what would Charlie Sheen say?
