RupertEve_Ferda_57950086_600 Many Michael Jackson fans are outraged about actor Rupert Everett’s recent remarks calling the pop star a “freak” and saying Jackson was better off dead.

Read his full remarks here.

Now the Broadway star apparently has offended Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter.

And Carter promptly removed Everett's name from the VF contributing editor list.

What was the offensive crack?

Everett described Carter during an interview as a "weird character" who is "rather fat."

A Vanity Fair source tells the Daily Mail: "When his remarks reminded Graydon that Rupert was still listed, it seemed some housecleaning was in order."

Wow, sometimes karma really is instant.
