The trailer starts out with Victoria Justice’s character Lindy stressing just how unfair and unjust life can actually be. “People go missing everyday. It’s not right,” she says. A clear reference to Lindy’s own personal loss.
For those who are unaware, here’s the deal.
“Eye Candy” is the story of a young woman trying to put the pieces of her life back together after her younger sister Sara is abducted.
She moves to New York City where she hopes to dedicate her life to solving the mysteries of other missing people, but once she arrives, a whole new host of problems are awaiting her.
Most notably, she seems to have an over zealous admirer who is stalking her every move.
Within the dating website ‘Flirtual’, there seems to be an attacker on the loose. But can one really be so sure this is the source of her trouble when websites like Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr offer such convenient windows into a person’s world?
That seems to be the primary question “Eye Candy” is asking its viewers in its first season debuting next month.
