victoria justice victorious Victoria Justice's 'Victorious' canceled by NickelodeonNickelodeon has canceled “Victorious,” starring Victoria Justice, after three seasons, Deadline reports.

Creator Dan Schneider, whose “iCarly” also recently got the ax, took to Twitter and his blog to point out that fans can still look forward to a new 15-episode season of “Victorious.”

“It’s not unusual for a Nick show to do a run of just 60 episodes,” writes Schneider. “I would love to have made more than 60 of ‘Victorious,’ but that’s how it usually goes.”

Justice, who plays aspiring singer and performing arts high school student Tori Vega in the sitcom, told her nearly 3 million Twitter followers that “3 Emmy nominations is not a bad send off.”

“We are very proud of the show, its very talented cast, and our audience will continue to see many of them in upcoming new Nickelodeon projects,” Nickolodeon said in a statement. The network recently ordered two spinoffs of iCarly, which concludes its six-season run this fall: Sam & Cat and Gibby.
