Did you ever imagine you’d see Billy Joel and Jimmy Fallon singing doo-wop music into an iPad? Those are the weird barriers Fallon is breaking down on his version of “The Tonight Show.”
During Joel’s Thursday (March 20) appearance on the show, Fallon revealed his wish to sing a song with Joel. They decided the best genre to tackle was doo-wop, which is made a bit easier due to an audio looping program Fallon has on his iPad..
Together they layered vocals for “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” which was a pretty cool moment. The best part is that it actually sounds like a great rendition of the song. If this leads to a duets album between Joel and Fallon, there shouldn’t be many complaints.

You may have seen him as a pro-shark protester in "Sharknado 3." His eventual memoir will be called "You're Wrong, Here's Why..." TV words to live by: "I'm a firm believer that sometimes it's right to do the wrong thing."
