natalie-dormer-elementary-moriarty-CBS-the-diabolical-kind.jpgGood news, “Elementary” fans (or bad news, as the case may be) — Natalie Dormer is back in Sherlock’s (Jonny Lee Miller) life as the dastardly Moriarty when the show returns from its holiday hiatus.

But is she so diabolical this time around? The episode description for “The Diabolical Kind” says that Holmes and Watson’s one-time adversary is “brought in as a consultant on a kidnapping case.” The cheat tweet reads, “Moriarty is back! And she’s working w/ Holmes & Watson?!”

Oh, dear. Can she be trusted? Her appearance last season certainly threw Sherlock for a loop — and we definitely don’t like the looks of the giant picture of Joan Watson that Moriarty appears to have painted. That’s … weird.

Check out the preview video below and get excited for Moriarty’s return, Thursday, Jan. 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on “Sherlock” on CBS.
