Two of the stars of “Scandal,” Jeff Perry and Dan Bucatinsky, stopped by “Hello Ross” Friday (April 18) to talk about all the ups and downs of Season 3, plus host Ross Matthews gave Bucatinsky the “big gay funeral” he deserved.

In case you forgot, Bucatinsky’s character James was shot earlier in the season, leaving his partner Cyrus Beene (Perry) to raise their daughter Ella alone. Since his passing never got a proper send-off on the show, Matthews brings out Chad Michaels, the winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars,” as Cher and the gay men’s chorus of Los Angeles to send Bucatinsky off in style.
During the interview, Perry and Bucatinsky lament that James is dead since, as Perry says, their characters had one of the most beautiful relationships on TV.

Beautiful and also … kinda messed up, we think. But still, RIP James (and Bucatinsky, on the show).

“Scandal” returns for Season 4 in fall 2014.
